Hi! I am Vivian Du, a student at Carleton College. Born and raised in China, I came to the United States for secondary education in 2019. Passionate about promoting digital literacy and social equity, I aspire to integrate quantitative analysis and sociological inquiries into the field of education. For the past couple of years, I have worked as a publicity intern at the ShiningStar Organization, advocating for educational welfare for left-behind children in rural China. Working with Ed100.org also lent me a deeper understanding of public education policy in the US.

I am very proud to be able to apply all the skills I garnered throughout my past experiences at the L-EAF Lab. I envisage a future full of intellectual adventures, combined with interpersonally engaging, academically meaningful field work grounded at the grassroots level in various cultures. In my free time, I am an avid badminton player and enjoy watching international soccer.
